Description
A southbound Sounder commuter train rolls over the bridge at 66th St in Tacoma. Most Sounder trains use EMD F59PHI locomotives, but this one had a Boise-built MotivePower Industries MP40 leading instead. The bridge itself features three spans: one on the left and two parallel spans on the right. Which seems kind of odd, but I guess it made sense to someone. This may make double tracking this stretch of track in the future easier.
