What started out as a quickie quickly got put under some refinement. Say hello to my first fully-digital drawing since...since....I dunno. No paper used for this one, just straight MS Paint and a magazine scan for reference and colors. Which is why she looks so poorly-drawn....But newbness aside, with less than 27 hours to go, some of the cast has got to be feeling the burn. And you know that Azula's probably on the edge of a nervous breakdown--being an archenemy and all.

Her lips were hard to do, but I'm pretty satisfied with them. Ignore inaccuracies, this is a quickie.

I think it might be deliberate. She looks so much less threatening with the bow-thing, and then absolutely gorgeous and innocent in the nightclothes, and with her hair down...how can you hate her? I wonder if the creators are shooting for that....

Well, it's neither been confirmed nor denied. Most people seem to think that she will, I'm one of those people who's going to hang on to that tiny little ball of delusion optomism hope, and pray she redeems herself before the end of season three. XD

And yeah, I've been having a nagging feeling that Azula is doomed too... I actually have a bit of a theory going about it: either she's going to go to far and Zuko will finally snap and kill her. Aang's probably got a huge grudge against her now too, but I think Zuko's probably going to be the one to do her in. Or on a drastically less probable note, she'll somehow see the light during the final episode or two and sacrifice herself for the greater good or something along those lines.

I'm hoping for her to get off easy and just have Ty Lee disable her or something. But I'm thinking that she'll probably die in some climactic last stand and then we'll see Zuko caring for her, even though she'd just been trying to kill him or something....
Whatever the case, a character like her is going to go out with a big hurrah.

I still think Zuko's going to kill her, but after he does, he'll break down and have this huge emotional moment, where he doesn't mourn for what he lost, but what he could've had if it weren't for Ozai's horrible manipulation of their relationship.

I dunno, Zuko murdering his own sister is a bit of a stretch, even for this show. He's not the killing type.
I have a huge prediction as to what might happen, but I'm not saying it, because it's so logical. The only question is whether it's Mai or Katara, and I'll leave it at that.

Actually I think she looks quite well drawn, just in a kind of a differant style than you usually do-- less true-to-show and more cartoony. I really like it.
