FINALLY the Working Group headshots and icons are finished!
I had a lot more fun than I thought I was going to have, but these days I'm just enjoying life a lot more in general so yays. Drawing different breeds -- particularly breeds I wouldn't normally draw for fun, lawl -- and really trying to get the character and nature of each one in the drawings is such satisfying work. I'd forgotten how enjoyable it could be. 
I feel like I need to make more characters of more breeds so I have an excuse to draw a wider variety in my daily sketches!Finished Groups: Working, Sporting, Herding, Toy.
Coming Next: Terriers.
(for all you Irish Water Spaniel and Kooikerhondje-lovers: I made two more icons for those breeds and added them to Sporting.
)am also thinking of making dog group support colourbars.

Well they're in Working. Whether they can or not isn't the issue, it's what they were originally bred to do, and that's guarding. There are sighthounds that can be trained to herd but that doesn't make them Herders instead of Hounds.

The Komondor, Malamute and Husky are gorgeous. The boxer looks a bit light in the head to me, but great job never the less!

i love your dog pictures! i have three myself, and one that is my grandmothers. Mine are a Akita/spaniel mix, Chow/Australian Sheperd mix, and Lab/something mix. My grandmother has a dachsund and i also have a white cat! XD pretty full house!

The German Shepherd is in the Herding Group and the Labrador is in the Sporting Group.

... ohh now i understand! lol sorry for that, i thought the title "working group" ment as in all the dog breeds that are mostly put to jobs. but i guess it ment it by one of the different groups the people ordered dog breeds in (hope that makes sense)....

Well, all these icon groups were done by the dog classifications as recognised by the AKC, so yes. I mention the other groups in the description and link to the finished icons.

They're not in this group, they're in the Non-Sporting Group (and I know they're a retrieving breed, so blame the kennel club for that decision). Please to be doing research before you yell at me, please. I'm sorry but I'm quite fed up of getting comments like this. Thanks for the compliment, no thanks for the accusation and the angryface.

That's quite all right. I'm sorry if I snapped at you, it's just that I get many comments from people either nagging or scolding me for not drawing a certain breed when in fact I did, it's just in the wrong group or on another page -- I'm quite sick of such comments, so that was a bit of a kneejerk reaction on my part and I apologise. Also because I don't know you I took it that you were serious. I'd advise you not to randomly joke around like that with people I'm not familiar with next time, just because it's so easy for such things to be taken the wrong way. Either that or make it completely clear that you were not serious.
