Chapter 2: Rythain and Duncan

Rythain returned to Sips co. to continue to help Sips and Sjin, but when he got there, he was horrified at what he found. Sips co. tower was gone, pieces of it scattered about the area. The geothermal facility was leaking cooling lava. Their hydro facility was a broken pile of sandstone and the sorting facility was on fire. Their house was crumbled.
"Sips, Sjin, can you hear me?!" Rythian shouted.
Has this happened elsewhere he wondered. Rythian decided he should check on Duncan so he flew off in the direction of Duncan's castle. Before he could make it to the castle though, he came across a large white building with a dwarf face on it. He looked down as three people emerged from the structure. Simon and Lewis! Duncan was also with them but he didn't know Simon and Lewis were in this world to. Rythain grinned and turned off his flying ring. He dropped right in front of the trio.
"Bloody Hell!" Lewis jumped.
"God dammit Rythain, give us a warning or something!" Simon said, grabbing his heart dramatically. All four of them stood there for a few seconds in silence then burst out laughing.
"What are you doing here Rythain?" Lewis asked.
"Well, I help out at Sips co., but there is nothing left of it." Rythian explained.
"Oh yeah, we found Sips and Sjin face down in their pool." Lewis said.
"They would have drown without their Quantum Suit helmets." Duncan quickly added.
"They are beat up pretty bad." Simon finished.
"Do you know what happened?" Rythain asked.
"No clue, they have been out since we found them." Lewis said frustrated.
"Lets just hope they get better." Simon said cheerfully.
"Wait, I have a Healing Stone at Blackrock Castle. Let me go get it. Where did Duncan go?" Rythain asked.
"He went back to his castle to get more medicine." Lewis answered.
"Okay"
Rythain flew off in the direction of Blackrock. As he was approaching Duncan's castle he saw the night illuminated by fire. Ash's were drifting through the air ominously. Arrows streaked by Rythain as flew raced closer. When he got to the castle, Duncan was firing arrows at a dark...thing. Rythain saw that it was charging a massive fireball.
"Duncan!" Rythain yelled. He zoomed at Duncan while shooting a green feather at the ground. The lightning from the feather caused the Dark Thing to lose its balance. Rythain tackled Duncan to save him. The fireball that was thrown at them hit Duncan's nuclear reactor. The combined explosion from the fireball and the reactor tore Duncan's Quantum Suit and Rythains Red Matter Armour to shreds. Rythain and Duncan slammed through the castle wall and without protection, quickly began to lose consciousness as Duncan's home collapsed around them.
