Name: Ultraviolet "U.V." Light

Gender: Nonbinary/Demiboy (DFAB; Them/Him pronouns)
Parents: Starlight Glimmer and Trixie Lulamoon
Siblings: younger sister

Special Talent: Doing cool awesome "laser" (ahem, magic) light show performances (things kind of akin to this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=3oUMko… and concert lights and like those chrismas light houses that sync to music). He started out helping Trixie with her shows and went on from there to start his own performances.
Bio: Starlight and Trixie were married about 5 years before they chose to have a child, mostly in part to Starlight's insecurities in bringing an actual living thing into the world (Starlight ends up being a great mother, even though she has to be the hardass because Trixie would let U.V. burn the house down).

Ultraviolet definitely inherited his mama's love for performing and showing off, although they does it out of pure passion and joy rather than notoriety. They tend to be a little reckless when practicing new light spells though, and more than often ends up blowing up something before being successful (think Seamus Finnigan).

Starlight was really worried about her child ending up being a little more on the antagonist side of things, but U.V. was raised with a lot of love and maybe a little too much protection sometimes, and thus became a very goodhearted pony (maybe too curious for their own good though, they'll wander off exploring for inspiration for their shows at the drop of a hat, which is a nightmare when Starlight visits the big cities). Ultraviolet tends to be very naive though, and gets taken advantage of a lot, especially when it comes to their performances, who he has to get large venues for and usually gets schemed into giving the venue owner more than they should, because U.V.'s shows attract huuuuuge crowds.

They look up a ton to their godmother, Twilight Sparkle (of course she's the godmother, but he affectionately refer to her as Auntie Sparkle), and loves showing off his spells for her.

They also 100% refer to themselves in the third person like their Great and Powerful Mama™ does. Their stage name is "The Bright and Magnificent Ultraviolet!™"
