Description Doodles in many styles of a welsh corgi. I haven't a clue if it's a cardi or a pem, he seems friendly so I guess it's a pem lol

Shh, besides being with my pup, corgis are my happy pills too

What do you mean, "he seems friendly so I guess it's a Pem"?
Cardigans are friendly, too!

That's a traditional Pemmy. C: Cardis are the ones that come in the crazy blue merle and brindle colors. And some Pemmies do have tails, actually. Fun corgi fact!

Hmm I've seen red cardis too if I'm not mistaken. From what I heard pemmys are nicer than cardis (personality wise), I don't know for sure though, I own a doxie and small dogs are in general slightly more aggressive. XD they sure love ankles!

Hmm..maybe! Corgis have a surprising diversity. And I've mostly met pemmys, and that's what created my love of them.
And yeaaahhhh... xD Even my Aussie used to be an ankle biter.

That's actually a misconception -has been a cardi breeder for 8 years now- Cardi's were bred for guarding the farm and children as well as managing the livestock so they do have a tendency to be more reserved with strangers at first, but they are by no means meant to be aggressive or mean at all. Pemmies are actually more energetic, cardi's being the more laid back of the two, and I've "heard" they can be more nippy ankle biters. But that can easily be a misconception as much as saying the cardis aren't as good tempered. Cardi's do come in red and sable as well as brindle, tri and blue merle also. -apologizes for spamming her comments with cardi FAQ-

Aaaah! Thank you! I never knew this since I never ever owned a corgi lol these are just bits of infos I heard over the years and stuff I read about them yonks ago. Never knew the differences between them.

Not a problem really I think every breed has hearsay about them that aren't true, and of course every dog even in the breed can be different personality wise. It's because of the initial stranger reservation they can have that means if you don't socialize them they have the potential to come off as less than friendly, but socialization is important in any breed. I've also read far too many breed books that get things wrong which is why I base my info from people who live with them and raise them ^^ but again it's a common mistake.

Oh god, some books are fun to read, they may nail the basics of each breed but as you said they can differ from one dog to another same as people. I was getting worried a few months ago when my dog would get all snarly and bark at little children, especially since I'd take her out when she was young and she was sociable with kids at a time and with other dogs. Didn't have probs with stranger dogs... yet but yeah, she's not friendly with young children. Then I read somewhere about her breed that, yeah, its just the way they are. Super stubborn as well...
You're a breeder, yes? that's amazing! I've been desperately looking around here for a pup, sadly though the kennels we have in Romanialand is a damn joke.

Ah yes, unfortunately socializing and training can end up being an ongoing thing with some breeds as they get older and "forget" they already figured out some things aren't scary.

I am a breeder in the US, expecting pups in about a month actually hopefully! My mother and I do business with a some good breeders in Norway and Finland as far as getting pups and stud from but unfortunately that's the extent of my connections overseas I'm afraid xD I don't know many kennels outside of those regions so I couldn't give you a good name to look up around Romania Though there are usually good breeders you can find who are willing to send pups via plane (it's sometimes considered a sign of a bad breeder if they ship dogs, but sometimes being able to visit or meet face to face just isn't possible or economical. But generally good breeders are willing to take the pup back if it doesn't work out and refund money. )

I was looking for them around here and Hungary actually, also sent e-mails to some breeders in the UK, no replies lol...
Do you know any breeders that would be able to send a puppy via plane? Actually... would you mind it if I nabbed your contact details through a note? ^^'
