What a stinging satire on the established societal rolls that we all adhere to, whether intentional or not is up for debate. Notice how the authority figure "Bon Bon" employs angular "lightning" from her mouth. This signifies dominance, with an undertone of insecurity. I would like to direct your eyes to the different coloring styles between the two mares. The "Bon Bon" has flat, almost paint-like coloring for her coat, the significance of such could have one of two meanings (possibly both). One: This is an outright betrayal of the norms of the medium in order to draw more attention to the entity, demanding more study by the artwork itself (my personal favorite) or Two: The "Bon Bon" is actually trying to break out of her own roll, while lashing out at the very same time. It speaks of the inner turmoil that one encounters when having to impose order on a sea of chaos: seemingly impossible, yet we are all compelled to try anyway. Truly a masterpiece for the ages.

I was legitimately wondering if you were actually understanding what you were talking about, or were just spouting buzzwords.

There was one man back in the 20th century who did wood carvings using his feet since he had no arms.
