Reminds me of what the world might have looked like in Tolkien's 'Elder Days' as described in his epic work The Silmarillion. Could there be a 'Dark Lord' of some kind lurking somewhere in this world you've created? Fantastic work! The color values from dark to light are awesome! Although I love the light, I would also love to explore the shadowy forest behind the viewer!

You know, I'm embarrassed to say, I'm not quite sure! I'm gonna say it came up on the general browse page when da first boots up, but I could also have seen it on a 'other work like this'-type browse. Sorry. Maybe the admin folks at da might know. Is it important? I've seen so many works lately, it's hard to remember where I saw this one. It doesn't surprise me that it's gotten a lot of hits tho'! It's a wonderful piece of work!

I always wanted to know...How do people "create" such magnificent pieces of work? Is there some software? Do you draw and colour them on computer or do you draw in the computer itself and colour it? I've always been very curious about these types of work. I've got the creative perspective but don't know how to do my own thing ;/ I would be glad if anyone could enlighten me.

This was created with multiple images compiled toghether in photoshop. Hence why it's listed as "photo-manipulation" work much like this takes years of practice in photoshop. There are a lot of photo manipulation tutorials on YouTube or Google. A great place to start would be to watch some of those
