Since I started drawing my own characters it’s become rare that I get sucked into something so much that I need to draw some fan art.Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi is such an amazing book! Zelie is an fiery protagonist, the world is rich and full of incredible details. The only reason I’m not done the book is because I had to stop and draw Zelie. She kicks some serious butt.
If you like young adult fantasy, definitely check out this book! It’s so good!

I cannot believe this doesn't have any comments first because it's absolutely amazing! I physically had to take a moment after seeing this to just process how good it is. Her muscles, her stance, her hair, her staff, her facial expression... I would have immediately known who this was even if I hadn't been searching specifically for this book already.
