Yeah the player can control frisks soul and if chara intervenes they'll just find a new one they get the true reset from Flowey or Chara by reinstalling you wipe chara,s efforts our your own and recreate our destroy the timeline and can save they can't really have there soul because they ethier don't exist or they more of self-consioness entity

I'm so glad you brought up a third force, instead of just making Chara an evil demon who hates everyone! So many people seem to think that Chara is just... evil. With no rhyme or reason for it, she just wants to kill everything. But she's a kid, and we are the ones who started that run, not her. She only started taking control after we forced her to murder her own adoptive mother, one of the people who took her in and cared for her. In both the fight with Asgore and Flowey, Chara hesitates, and she doesn't kill them until WE hit the next button. That's out 1 very last chance to close the game and back out of that run. If we push her to kill her brother, that's it. That's the final breaking point.

Oh god, a long way back, I saw up to where Flowey got the soul. The one right before he turned into Asriel. I looked around a few weeks for what came next but never found it. A bunch of time passed and I forgot about it. God I remember looking forward to the next parts though. Welp, I guess now I'll be watching <3

I'm glad you are taking the player into account, not a lot of people do that. In my last comment on the post before this I mentioned the Underplayer comic, in the first panel the "Creature" on the right looks kinda like the main player in Underplayer, I wonder if you got the design and possibly some of the idea from the comic.

Kudos! Yay! You are tackling the issue of the flipping Player! Indeed Frisk wouldn't have wanted to reset the happy ending and was not near the True Reset. The only one that would have known is Flowey himself, but his memories were wiped too. Also... Yeeessss it is not Frisk's choice to kill on their own. Thank you. There are not many who go into this.
