THANK YOU. Finally someone who agrees! One time in school, a boy that I really like was being sarcastic at me without me realizing it, and I'm all like, "What?" and than he was all like, "It's sarcasm, stupid!" Like seriously, WHAT. THE. HELL? That made me so mad and it hurt my feelings.

My first comment was sarcastic, and to be honest, you need to grow a thicker skin. I mean, the guy was a jerk, but if you're worried about your "feelings", you need to worry about something more serious because the majority of people aren't gonna care about your "feelings".

I see, but people who don't understand sarcasm are actually one of my largest pet peeves. I know it may not sound like much, but I get tired of having to explain sarcasm in order for people to understand it. It should be common sense because it's OOC of me to speak stupidly. To me, having to explain sarcasm is like explaining a joke, it completely ruins it. One person even thought I was trolling when I was being sarcastic. So which person do you think their "feelings" are more hurt, the person using sarcasm, or the person who doesn't get it?

I see. From the way I see it, it's the person who's using it, because people say thing's like "omg y didnt u just tel uz u wre being srcastic!1111". I will never, and I mean NEVER explain sarcasm just because some idiot didn't understand it, it completely ruins the whole joke.
