Kind of reminds me of a more mechanical lined version of Hector (who was a cyborg I don't care what Wikipedia says )  

Kind of looks like a multipurpose emergency response robot. (including some crowd suppression if necessary... )

The way you phrased that "Nice to hear from you by the way" had me trying to figure out where we knew each other from. Then I look here and see that's just the way you say things.... I was relieved I hadn't forgotten a chatting bud and sad that there wasn't one to forget... if that makes any sense.

Now this is really interesting. I cannot really decide on what might be it's purpose. The microscope like head and the attachment to his left arm kind of give it the appearance of a machine of science, but then what looks like a riot stick, the bulky build and those blue and red things on it's shoulders also give you the impression of a law enforcer. Maybe it could be robot for emergency responce, both a paramedic and a police officer.

I really love it.
