I was given a vision from the Lord while in the emergency room. This was it… God’s mercy was displayed at the cross, and His judgment of sin is what is to come. Angels are very big and very small at the same time. He has angles of judgement that make up an entire army. The fact that God is even bigger than they are is absolutely terrifying. We are as infinitely small to Him as He is infinitely large to us. Ask yourself this: If there was a god that created the entire universe, how would it not be within their power to descend in human form sinless and perfect? And with how flawed humanity is with war, crime, murder, etc, it’s almost like any good we accomplish just gets over shadowed by those who commit evil or try to bring about their own definition of peace. The world is blanketed by politics, I have a close relationship with someone who was crucified by the political church of his time. Peace is not something to try and bring about, it’s something to wait for longingly. I pray for my savior’s swift return. Thank you Lord Jesus for wanting me even though you don’t need me. Thank you Father in heaven for relentlessly pursuing me when I turned my back on you when spitting on the cross. Thank you Holy Spirit for praying this prayer with me. But most importantly, thank you Christ Jesus for carrying the cross to Calvary for me. I know what it is I truly deserve and it most certainly is not heaven or love for that matter. There will be judgment in heaven, but that judgment is a mercy compared to what I actually deserve. “For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life.” JOHN 3: 16
