Thanks bud, yeah I'm really trying for the speed. If I can get down to a general finished comp in 1 hr , then I'm hoping to spend 2 hrs on detail.

I will be happy if I can get to 3 hrs with this quality.

That's a good goal.

And that is the way to tackle it. The more detail time you can squeeze out the better the piece will be.

As you are well aware, the devil is in the details and details take time. I like my digital work okay, I suppose (so far), but I take too long. I am a traditional brush painter, so it is gonna take some real practice to get as fast on the computer as I paint.
