My first deviation for 2008..Yay~!!
Not scraps ya..owo
Not fan art this time..I need some time to draw something new..so i will take a rest on fan arts ya especially tsubasa..
BEhold!...My current painting skill...Mwahaha!!!

I put all my effort on this, yesh many details yea~!>w<
Im used to drawing small details but not for digital art...my eye hurts..>m<
All blue except the lady of cos
..XPAah yes and this was inspired by a song call "Shadow of my day" from Linkin Park..ohyeyyh!!!

LOLZ...there are too many things i want to say about this piece of art of yours.
and before that i have to tell you that i stare at it for 5 mins,really 5 mins.
the longer i stare the more things i learn bout watercolour and also,i felt that i must fav this.
because it's just too pretty..AND you used my favorite blue colour as the colour scheme but yet you use it so well,so beautifully with the colour of the skin mix with the colour of the water so well.the bubbles+the dress and other small details....make me cry. TTvTT
I abosulutely love the hair,the angle and the bg(those shinny part+sea water).
AND OMGGGGG you just used 11 HOURS?!!! YOU SERIOUS?! ;A;
how do YOU ppl draw and colour so fassst? T_T

I have a set of watercolours but nothing I produce is any good ._.
What advice do you have on...
-Paper quality/weight?
-Brushes?
-order of painting the layers?
-painting the thinner lines (hair)?

Hmm..this is going to be a long advice..:-
-If u are using water colour, use a thick paper...Im using 300gsm paper..the thicker the better but not too thick, thats only for oil painting haha..XD.Any kind of paper will do.If u are using less than 150gsm it will spoil the whole picture.
-For brushes..Depends on the drawing size.
-For layers of painting, T.T..erm..hard to explain..,
From light colour to dark colour?Let it dry first or mixed in the colour in wet..But fast!
-Aah...the hair i use size zero brush, be careful on this ya,One stroke mistake, u're doom.
So be patience on painting!!For digital no worries one.still can undo it but painting it dont have one!
