Description
This was a commission set of images based on Uncanny X-Men 233. During Uncanny X-Men 232-234, the X-Men face off against Mutant Brood, Aliens with the ability to implant eggs within a host, and then override that being on a genetic level. The X-Men become aware of an infestation in Colorado, and set off to face the threat. During the fight, Rogue Psylocke, and Wolverine face perils several times, Psylocke the most. She spends most of the Arc as an unwilling Psychic prisoner to the Brood. But Wolverine gets the worst of it, as he is implanted with an egg, and only his healing factor is able to save him.

Psylocke isn't implanted because she wears an impenetrable suit of armor, and Rogues skin can't be pierced. So, they made the two X-Men outside of Colossus most likely to face the most peril for a short-term, since they can survive the Brood without being implanted.

In my alternate Earth of 147, Mindlocke and team are in a similar situation, except there are less Brood, but each is far stronger, and takes more than one X-Man to face off against. In the Comic, Temptress attempts to dominate several X-Men including Storm, whose willpower is enough to resist, But Betsy, her mind more vulnerable to Mind Control, falls quickly to her. It's a thing that happens to Betsy all the time. Although she is a Telepath, others can dominate her quite easily.
