Description DEATH IS WHOEVER DOES DEATH'S JOB.
-Mort, from Terry Pratchett's "Mort"

Been a while since I finished something fully rendered. Relatively happy with this, and frankly I was having a lot of fun; been wanting to do a picture of Mort for ages.

(This really ought to be on a Tarrot card.)

This is fantabulous. The lighting, guh... The whole effect of the light in Death's chin, so simple yet effective. Would you care to have a look in our new club^^?

Thank you! :3

Have you read Good Omens? That one's my favorite - a brilliant collaboration between Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.

Ack! No! TP is so popular at our library, most of the books are returned and taken before I get the chance to pick it up, so I get what's there!

haha, it totally does look like a Tarot card. Should totally design some cards sometime, I bet they'd be awesome!

Rushifa lives on DA!

Yeah, Discworld would be a fun source to draw from for that, too.

If I had my digital camera up here, I'd totally go out of my way to create for you usable hand reference. But I think our hands are kind of similar, so perhaps looking in a mirror is, in your case, just as useful.

HM. This looks great. And the sword and pose and everything I've gushed about before. You made it all smooth, hwoo.

Terry Pratchett is one of my favorite authors, and you did an awesome job on this, needing a reference for hands, or not.
