LOL the hair must have taken you a whole week to gel up. But the fact that you were able to to do it sets high hopes for me if I ever intend to spike up a wig. You're missing the green eyes, but otherwise, the costume is perfect!

Ahh thank you so much lauraneato!! Oh and I didn't use gel, it's all hot glued, wired, and hairsprayed into place. Those spikes don't move. Argh! I've been searchin for the right kind of contacts for super saiyan but I haven't found one that looks right. There's one opaque kind I know about, but supposedly you're 100% blind if you wear them.

Great work. The fake ears are pretty hardcore. Though I'm a bit disappointed you didn't paint your eyebrows - but I guess it was three in the morning.

Thanks! Yeah I'm lacking the contacts, the eyebrow paint, and my pale make up in this photo... I just finished fixin' the cape though so I wanted to take a pic right away hahahah

there's a buncha ways to do spikey wigs hehe... most are pretty expensive and require a looong time, so I use a kind of unothodox method of making a wire frame, hot gluing hair to the wig netting and shaping spikes with lots of hairspray. I wrote this tutorial kinda thing a while ago about Goku hair if you're interested in just what steps I take ^_^ -> [link]

er lol why would you cry ?? Anywayz, I plan them out and make my own patterns, then sew them using a sewing machine... this one had a LOT of hand-sewing for the cape and the shoes. I bled on those shoes >_<. Thanks about the wig ^^!! This is version 1.5 of it, originally it was yellow and the spikes were kind of sorry lookin.

::sigh:: I wish I had talent in costume making, as it is my greates costume ever is a wig I found at a halloween shop, spray painted black to look like Vegeta's hair, and then a cat suit spray painted blue with the arms cut off... as far as cosplay goes, it was pretty sorry.
