[This is on Tumblr]I decided to do another semi-realistic eye coloring tutorial for bishies ;u;!
I went into more depth this time. This tutorial is for Photoshop users (may work with SAI), it's better if you have a drawing tablet with pen pressure. These are based on personal experiences. I hope it helps!

Even though you made this with photoshop and for digital artists, looking at all the steps of making the eyes will help me DRAW better ones than the things I currently make.
All the efforts and steps of shading and eye details are all important and it is my personal opinion that this very detailed step-by-step of yours would go a long way towards helping ANYONE draw (digitally or not) better eyes. I am SO happy to have stumbled on this.

There's plenty of eye tutorials, but I think this one is really nice. Not every step is shown, but it's quite rare to spot most of the colours to make learning easier.
