[This is on Tumblr]I decided to do another semi-realistic eye coloring tutorial for bishies ;u;!
I went into more depth this time. This tutorial is for Photoshop users (may work with SAI), it's better if you have a drawing tablet with pen pressure. These are based on personal experiences. I hope it helps!

For this eye I used canvas around 1000x1000 pixels!
I suggests using larger canvas so you can add more details to it ^^

May i ask you a question i really never understood, why should we use overlay? or better what is it for?

My own understanding is that it makes drawings more interesting by giving it a tinted look. On overlay, using a darker color allows the image to become darker, vice versa. Hope that makes sense ^^"
