Ooooooooookay... maybe I lied. I woke up at 1 am and all the sudden I could draw. Drawing block over.
Soooooooo I decided to try to do a tutorial on how I draw chibis. I know it's horrible I'm sorry and I babble too much. I just can't explain! *twitch*Erm so yeah. For those who want to know I draw all my sketches in photoshop CS2 with a 1 px hard brush with a non-pressure sensitive tablet. Just in case you're wondering why they're so messy

Ummmm..... I saw ur tuto and I really liked da character u drew so now I have an idea for a character dat looks a little like da 1 u drew except with diff. eyes and clothes........so I was wondering if u'd be mad if I made her my main character. Plz, plz reply.

I always start with the eyes, whether Chibi or not. And then I do the nose/mouth, then the bangs, then the head and ears [if any] and then I do the neck and body then finish the hair... And I don't use guides either. I have trouble drawing if I do. I can't even draw clothes on bodies. Must do it as I go along.. o > _ < o

Anatomy is my weak spot and guides usually make it worse for me. And I always draw them too heavy so even when you erase them they're still completely visible.

Mmm... I understand. I kinda sometimes have the same process but sometimes doing a sort of guide thing helps my anatomy. But you know what it actually helps out more that I draw on the computer as I can transform the drawing and change it if I have serious mistakes xD

Yup. I use a bamboo fun, though this drawing I was using a Wacom Graphire. Those aren't pressure sensitive and they're TERRIBLE. Bamboo Funs are pretty cheap and are very useful for drawing.

You're very welcome! I'm not good at them much myself I'm afraid but chibi positions aren't that hard. What I would recommend is to look closely at some sort of professional looking drawings and use them as a loose reference. Not completely draw off of them but just look at how the body works, you know?
