So Date and Switch goes on, and this time the cast starts to grow. I hope you'll all like the new character as much as I do.
Also, if this comic had background music, this would play at panel 14: www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbZx6S…
Here's the link to the program I used to make these pictures: pochi.x.fc2.com/k_kisekae2.htm…

Kailyn was strolling along the shoreline peacefully. Ah, how good did the warmth of the beach felt. She didn't remeber the last time she had been to the beach, but probably since last year, seeing this was spring break.
Her thoughts were cut short when she saw a girl kneeling just ahead. The breeze was blowing hard enough for her not being able to hear the girl, but by the looks of it she was sobbing. She got close to the girl and her thoughs were confirmed: she was crying. She couldn't help but think how familiar she looked. Maybe she knew her from somewhere? At this point Kailyn didn't remember. She had to talk to her.
"Hey," she addressed the girl, "is everything alright?"
The girl stopped crying for an instant and looked up to her. "Y-yes..." As soon as she heard that voice Kailyn was reminded on who she was.
"Wait, you're Ellie, right? Ellie from class B? I'm Kailyn, from class C. Remember me?" They had never talked much to eachother, but they knew eachother from school. "What's wrong? You can tell me anything."
"N-no thanks, I'm fine" the girl looked away. "Could you please go away?" As much as she needed someone to confort her, she couldn't just tell her she was not Ellie but rather her friend Daria, or that Ellie was in her own body with her boyfriend, or that he hadn't even recognized her, or that-
"Hey, listen." Kailyn knelt close to her, placed a hand on her back and looked her in the eyes, with a smile on her face. "I don't know what happened, and if you don't feel confortable telling me, I understand. But crying over it isn't going to solve it, and I'm not just leaving you here alone. So how about we go and have some fun together, huh? What do you say?"
Daria smiled back at her and answered with a simple "OK..." Both girls got up and Daria wiped the tears from her face. "Alright, I feel better."
"That's my girl!" Kailyn's energy and enthusiasm was easily spreading onto Daria. "What do you say we go to the water first?"
Soon both girls were playing in the sea, with Kailyn splashing water towards Daria, diving under the surface and popping back to the surface, with Daria trying to defend herself from her. They were in the water for quite some time, as Ellie's concerns and doubts were washed away by the sea and the playing, and for a second she even forgot she was in Ellie's body.
After a while, the two girls left the water. "AAAAAH, I hadn't had so much fun in a while", Kailyn remarked, stretching herself. "Hey Ellie, are you in the mood for some ice cream now?"
"Sure!" said Daria. "I love myself some ice cream!"
"By the way, can you tell me now why you were crying back then? If you're confortable with saying it, of course."
"Oh? Oh, hey, no problem. I, uh..." The question got Daria by surprise. She had to think of something quick. She said the first thing that came to her mind. "A couple of mean girls from the other class were saying I was too short and skinny to wear a swimsuit. I'm used to hearing this. They just got me by surprise, that's all. It's OK now." Daria tried to keep smiling to assure Kailyn she was saying the truth.
Kailyng frowned at what she heard. "Bullies will be bullies. They won't even leave people alone during spring break." But she quickly turned back to smiling. "Anyway, don't listen to them. Everyone's flawed, that's what makes them pretty and unique. I have my freckles, and you have this cute beauty mark right under your eye." She pointed at her own face, placing her index finger on her left cheek bone.
"Yeah, I guess you're right..." Daria was confused. She did have a beauty mark under her eye, but that was in her actual body. Ellie had no beauty marks at all. She felt her own cheek to make sure she had it. *It's right here, just as I remember it...* What could this mean?...
