My Intermediate Show entry for mapal 's Angelus Estate Summer Dressage Show. It was fun listening to this song while drawing, although my speakers quite on me part way through, . As you can probably gather from the title, Avery and GP and performing an extended canter.

Talk about high energy. Ghost Pepper was well rested and raring to go, and he showed it in every step he took. He pranced around in hand instead of walking and even a warm up lunging didn't seem to take the edge off of him. Thankfully, he didn't seem to be using his energy for evil, and instead was behaving himself. Which was fortunate as Avery had planned to ride him in just his neckrope for their Intermediate Kur class. His extra energy added more pep and lift to his step, especially notable in the trot and canter, which Avery was not against seeing. He had taken to the warm up like a fish to water and gave lovely movements and even threw in a few unasked for demi changes. Avery hoped he would leave the improvisation in the warm up ring, but with this horse who could tell. Avery tacked GP up in his usual tack, and slipped the neck rope over his head. A short while later, Avery heard them called into the ring. He flowed in his movements like a bird cutting through the air, and as Avery entered the ring to start their test, she felt prepared.
