I don't hate it, but it's not particularly cute or funny to me.
I think it would help if you brightened things up a bit. The colors are way too dark to give off a feeling of being "colorful".
Also, the hair could use a bit more variety. When I first saw this, my eyes were drawn to the hair, which was mostly a darkish green.

idk how to make them look brighter, only if i'd add white but then they'd become bleached out and have a grey tint

Well, I think you'd be all right if you used a wider variety of colors. More red, less green, maybe some violet . . . stuff like that.
Of course, I'm no expert.

yea, there's a graidient in the gimp i use, it's just a rainbow of colors xD
and i tried to make the colors come from different colors, i'll fix it up and you can tell me how it looks Cx
