Monster - Slithering Frost

This large serpent inhabits the northern forests of Drakhan. There, it patiently sits hidden under the snow until its prey - primarily large herbivores, though anything decently sized is of great interest to this creature - draws near enough for it to strike. It got its name from the way its scales glimmer and shine in the cold winter sun, lending the snake an iridescent sheen that makes it resemble shards of ice scattered on the snowy ground. Recently, a particularly aggressive specimen has been spotted near the village of Casca, and though the Drakhan authorities aren't entirely opposed to the snake taking care of the weaker individuals in the settlement, they would like this creature dealt with to prevent any large-scale damage.
