Its not so often you start a shits-and-giggles idea and find out theres actually something related to that shits-and-giggles idea in the source material. Case in point above; the "Scout Regiment."

During my early anime days, I recalled hearing about "Attack on Titan" but for whatever reason it may be it just never appealed to me. Perhaps it was the very dark story, the art style or the fact that I was contradicting my then-approach of "you wouldn't catch me dead watching anime" mentality. For the longest time, it remained that way too on AoT. Then about...2 years ago, I finally said 'fuck it' and gave it a go and holy shit I had been missing a lot. As of this post, I have completed Season 4 Part 1. Anything beyond is a spoiler to me.

About a year ago (By that time I was done with S3, my library did not have S4 available yet) I had a cool idea for a for-fun collection post; an AoT themed train. My logic ties with real history, taking inspiration from the Santa Fe Railroad's "Scout" train. The idea; a war time troop train where Titans still roam the countryside but for the most part, getting there is easier via train and included horse cars (or converted baggage cars).

Then in Season 4 Part 1, trains are made canon to exist. The end result, my first collection post in quite a while! I found it so fun that I might actually model this train in the long run because it just...works for some reason.
