Description
Simba stepped into the den in the backlands his cousin, Kusalitiwa, had started to call home.“Hello, cousin.” He greeted.
”Hello, cousin,” she greeted back, “To what do I owe the pleasure of seeing you?”
”You know EXACTLY why I’m here, Kuzi!” Simba snapped, “I need you to stop allowing Nuka to come into the Pridelands!”
Kusalitiwa froze for a second, shock evident on her face. Finally, after what seemed to be an hour, she spoke, “I’m sorry. What did you just ask me to do?” She got close to her cousin’s face in order to retaliate to Simba, “I’m not sure if you remember, Your Majesty, but my father would ABANDON me in the Pridelands AND the Outlands whenever he had the chance! I will not treat him the way my father treated me!”
”Back down, Kusalitiwa,” Simba growled, “I’m only doing what’s best for my kingdom!”
“The best for your kingdom. Ok. Tell me, cousin, am I not one of your subjects?”
”You are, but the cub-“
”IS MY SON AND SHOULD BE GRANTED THE SAME AMOUNT OF HOSPITALITY THAT ANY GUEST OF THE PRIDELANDS!” Kusalitiwa roared, “Nuka had NOTHING to do with Kopa’s death or with SCAR for that matter!”
Simba stayed quiet for a moment. He looked into his cousin’s eyes. They were starting to water from the frustration she felt.
He sighed, “I’m not going back on this order, Kuzi. I don’t want to see your son in my lands again.”
Kusalitiwa sat down facing away from Simba, “I was hoping you would see my point of view,” Kusalitiwa growled, “but you’re just as bad as what our fathers were.”
”Get some rest, Kuzi,” Simba said as he started to leave, “I expect to see you at Kion’s presentation.”

OwO? Family drama?! I realized I hadn’t done anything with these two trauma babies in a bit, so I just did the best I could with random story telling. Not sure if I should count this as a slight spoiler, but oh well. Don’t know what else to say here, lol.
