My friends and I try to draw at least one pic a week to practice our skills and combat artist block. This weeks topic was
"Close Combat" Its up to the artist if how to interpret it, but it has to feature dynamic angles, and digital coloring if possible. So I choose Machiko Nogachi vs Shorty... Aka Lar'nixva from the AVP series. Hope this is dynamic enough. This is my first attempt at using traditional "comic style" coloring techniques on the computr with the gradiant tool. Still looks very plasticy to me, so I hope to improve...man though...I must have put at least seven hrs labor into coloring this.
