Description
I enjoy walking, it helps me relax and it helps me think. I like looking at the world as I walk along, following the busses.Looking at things that I've seen for days and trying to look at them differently every time I pass by. Sometimes I get the urge to make pictures of them, sometime I leave things till the time feels right.
Sometimes I decide it's time to submit, even if there's not enough time for anything else...

Hehe, I love this one. It's actually the kind of effect I like to use in my deviations.
And I love those fusions between natural environments and objects or buildings...

Something very appealing about this- reminds me of dreaming for some reason. I really like it. Great work!

from the thumbnail, i thought, as redbird said, that the pillar was some sort of light, shining its beam into the sky. someone mentioned a 'dream-like' quality. indeed. i'm reminded of walking along through my day. my eyes see one thing. my mind, processing it all, taking it all in, associates, imposes, superimposes. images flash through my mind like this shot. the cool dark blue of the sky reminds me of my favorite time to go hiking - right at dusk or dawn, or just before a storm.

i agree with jesse. this is really good. when i look at it and i read your description, i can feel exactly how you feel and think and while thinking that, my eyes are set upon this pillar of light. seems a little like talking to myself. giving the impression of dreaming away.

ive been trying to figure out what to say for awhile, but keep erasing what i write. heh. the image is very dream-like to me, and you cant explain them anyways, so why try? ;p the overlapping blue part, on top of the pillar, is just beautiful.

This photo is one of the ones I like the most in your gallery, I love how it looks like what it is but it also resembles to me a flashlight shining into the sky. I know that the combination of the intense and subtle colours, shining through the night, have something to do with why I enjoy looking at it as well ...

How did you made this shot? Double exposure?
I love the way you combined the light on the pillar with the blue background of the clouds. Although it doesn't really match it looks really well in this shot.
Funky angle as well.

Beautiful form and very uplifting somehow. The play with the orange lighting/highlights with the blue is outstanding. I love the textures, and the sky carries a story with it all by itself.

I love the colors on this. You know, blue and orange go well together, I think. But this is a peaceful picture aside from that. I love walking as well, its like seeing things slowed down, unlike riding in a car.

OMG, this is so fantastic! The darkness, the bit of amber light and the surreal feel to this is wonderful. I love the angle of the pillar and the trees silhouetted. Very thought provoking.
