I believe I started these references early 2019(?). Well, I felt it needed a revision for a few reasons. The stand alone zhuards representing one color didn't quite do zhuard colors justice. Zhuards should be viewed in shades as Irden viewed them, not specific color by color as we tend to do. (Think of how many terms and names we have for different "brownish" horses for example-chestnut, liver chestnut, red/sorrel..the list goes on). Irden would simply blanket term them under a gradient, and from that I thought this paint swatch-esque idea was pretty representative.

I recently made some tweaks to the zhuard standard breed (minor but imo necessary). That little stylized outline is a sign of something more to come as far as revisions, references and perhaps other things..
