In an old farmhouse in New Hampshire, six cats gathered around a television. It was on a commercial break, so the cats began to just speak amongst themselves. Storm, a young black and white cat, just sat grooming his short, soft pelt. " I just can't see why you all waste your time watching television all day." Another cat, a female tortoiseshell twitched her tail tip staring at Storm. " Oh come on, Storm, I saw you watching it too"! Storm rolled his green eyes, " Please, Lilly, I was simply watching you watch it". Jake, a grey and white cat, who was Storm's brother just shook his furry head. " Don't Pay any mind to Storm. He's just trying to look like he's older! Just don't let him spurn you for enjoying yourself! His belief in his infallibility makes me sick"! Another Black and white cat, a female named Becky lapped at her tiny white paws, she was only a kitten, along with her brother, a gray tabby cat named Ace. Becky turned to Storm, " Come on Storm, we're even watching a grown up show, the News"! Storm rolled his eyes again, " Well, all the news has been talking about is a giant wave washing over cities, and I honestly find no interest in it at all"! Storm watched the television, a large vortex of water crashed into houses, causing them to become evanescent in the waves and then they were destroyed.

Meanwhile their owners, John, his wife Samantha, and his daughter Nikki were sitting at the table discussing the tsunami that was all over the news today. " John, this is getting out of hand! What if this Tsunami reaches us"! John shook his head, " If we are in any danger then the police will tell us to evacuate". Nikki frowned, " What about the cats? Would we be able to take them if we need to leave?" Samantha smiled at her daughter, " Of course we will".

The cats were unaware of the pandemonium going on with their owners and were instead sitting in the kitchen. Ace was ravenously eating his food while Storm was grooming. Becky was preforming tricks enjoying the acclaim that she was receiving from Lilly and Jake. Storm gracefully jumped up onto the counter. Suddenly there was a pound on the door, Storm watched his young owner Nikki run up to the door. She answered it, it was a police man. The man stared at her. " Are your parents home"? Nikki nodded, " Mom, Dad someone is at the door"! Samantha and John rushed to the door. the Policeman frowned, " you all need to evacuate, the Tsunami is heading our way fast, please come with me, hurry"! Nikki's eyes widened in alarm, " Wait! What about the cats?" The police man ushered them out the door, " There's no time come on"! John picked up his daughter and rushed out the door not even bothering to close the door.

Storm sat on the floor staring at the opened door, he didn't know what was going on, but he could tell that this was a precarious situation that needed to be handled with control. He thought of the wave on the news and frowned. Storm burst into the kitchen, " Everyone get outside now! No questions just come on!" He grabbed Becky by the scruff and ran outside to explain to everyone about the imminent danger that they were in. Storm waited for the others. He and Becky stared at the iridescent light gleaming off the window. The four other cats charged outside and gathered around Storm. Storm just wrapped his black and white tail around his paws and got ready to explain the danger that they were in.
