Alright, It was inevitable that I do a piece of the Little mermaid for my February Draw-a-day over @ the sketchtavern.
As much as that film seems to be directed toward the female audience, I enjoy this film quite a lot.
Great lead, classy supporting characters, one devious villain and to top it off, an ace soundtrack!
So here's my rendition of that scene, sub-par to the original (as only one inspired by could hope to achieve) but an attempt none the less.
Finished the lines, and Ariels colours before me midnight deadline, but w/ me mates being over couldn't step back to the comp to beat the clock. Ohwell, here it is now, fully completed.

I don't like too much Ariel (the beauty of Alice, Belle, Thinker Bell and Jazmine is better), But Ariel Looks too dynamic and very beautiful in your style! I LOVE IT!

I use to sing that song all the time when I was a little girl. This is my second all time favorite Disney movie. Beauty and the Beast is my first. You made Ariel look sublime.

What boggles my mind is that in scenes like this, and that one where she's getting out of the water in that sparkly dress, her hair should really be wet. Is it a mermaid thing, to not have your hair get wet?

Crap.....I haven't seen this movie in ages....so I've basicly forgoten this masterpiece{SP?}.Kinda sucks being that one of the greatest composer's gave this film it's songs.

little mermaid is probably my 2nd favorite disney film of all time (first being alice) i just love it, it was phenomenally animated, amazing to watch, especially when youre young, but is still amazing some 12 years later.
I think your rendition of this scene is just awesome, its like, something everyone know, and you made it sparkle your own way
