Porchoros watched as altair flew down he had been chasing after the the archeops which had been causing so much trouble. Not that he could do much on his own but he had tracked them down to the hideout.

Altair had landed right on his back. “Porchoros. Did you find what you were looking for? Hop asked me to come let you know that the weird mons were on the move and that you should come over that way.””

Porchoros glanced sideways. Those weird pokemon hadn’t been something he had ever seen before. “YEah theres too many of them with their archeops and stuff for me to handle on my own. MAybe if i have hops help we can take out the thieves. Might as well since we are stuck here. Which way?”

Altair took off. Getting back off his back “Follow me. They were headed twoards the volcano … I think they had said something about it being important for their species or something or other.”

He nodded his head before running after the bird. More than happy to get back to his boyfriend rather than watching these silly archen.

Hop was using Isadora. For easier transport he was sitting on top of the large pokemons back. She had much more stamina than he did and could run for a lot longer than he could. The mon didnt seem to mind either.

Watching the Kleindon from up above his perch from isadora he hoped they wouldnt be going to far. He had already sent altair off. Porchoros’s pokemon were with him. Squirt mitri and antanas were on the ground. Squirt hanging with antanas laying on him draped. They were really close. Something about being mates he thinks that porchoros had mentioned in the past. They had been close for a long time though. In the several months since antanas had joined the group.

Dikeledi was up on top of isadora enjoying the sunlight and soil which She provided. Patixi not having a lot of mobile options was also up there though he didn’t really seem to be taking the heat as well complaining over a psychic link about the fact that they were heading over to a volcano.

Sashi meanwhile was content being in hops lap. Where he would scritch his little ears. The eevee was honestly pretty adorable if not helpful much combat wise for the league challenge. More of a companion mon.

Porchoros’s service mon lakshmi on the other hand had followed him. Likely cause he was doing his job as he should. Keeping up porchoros’s illusion and also generally being helpful for the sneaking mission.

Hop looked over to patixi. “Did they say how much further this would be. I’m guessing not? But why the volcano?”

Patixi muttered over the psychic link. “Something about evolution I think . Remember how they said it might be some kinda eevee ancestor? Well the volcano is necessary for the evolution of their species or something I think based on what they were saying.”

Hop leaned back. “Eevee ancestor right… How come we never heard of such a thing back home? Its kinda wild and a little odd. I know its another universe. But thats still a little strange… Eh im not gonna think about it too hard.

While he was wondering aloud he heard a cry from above. It was altair returning to isadora and just in time. The Kleindon had stopped moving and so had isadora. Landing on top of hops arm and whistling softly.

“Guess that means you found porchoros. Is… is he coming?” He scritched the bird underneath its chin gently. Which altair would lean into. Cawing out a response.

“You dont need to ask him that im right here” That voice it was porchoros down below.

Porchoros was looking up at hop from the ground. As he shifted into his human form gradually. Letting out a grin. “So whats up.”

They didnt even have the chance to answear that. The kleindon had found its way to one of the nearby lava streams and with a glow there was now an entirely new pokemon.

“... that Is not how evolutions work. What kinda backwards world is this?” The now evolved kleindon was much much larger than it was prior and much longer. It had a fiery neck thing which kinda reminded him of typhlosion. So it stands to reason it was now a fire/rock type. Considering most of the fossils on their world were rock types.

Hop would jump down from isadora. And sashi would bold off to the newly evolved pokemon curious . Excited words porchoros did not quite catch.

HOp would then send out tarial . “I’m… Not sure I havn’t see this kinda thing either. Though I don’t do a lot of world traveling so I wouldn’t know. But both a strange unknown pokemon and weird evolutions? Its all kinda exciting you know?. We dont get a lot of new pokemon out in galar”

Tarial was filled with boundless energy even in the heat of the volcano. A quick “Hey whatcha need boss?

Porchoros then sighed “So I located where the thieves went with the fossils. We should probably head in that direction and intercept them and attempt to get the fossils. Atleast sneak past them and get the fossils.?

“Can… I help? You were reviving the others right?” to his surprise the newly evolved pokemon was talking to them. Instead of running off again.

He took a moment before responding. “Do you think you can carry us?. Your likely faster than isadora now. And probably can get us back there much faster yea right?”

The newly evolved pokemon would lower themselves offering up their back.

“That so cool alright Me and you can get on with squirt… Most of your pokemon should be able to follow. Except patixi… Maybe ill have isadora continue carrying him and dikeledi and they can catch up. I can leave altair out to keep an eye on the sky. Everyone else should stay in their balls. “ Hop would say thinking about it a bit.

Tariel would make a fuss “I wanna stay out.” He bounded around the group of them .

“YEah you can too Tariel . I dont think hop would have a problem with that.” porchoros responded “he wants to run alongside it.”

Hop “Yeah that should be fine.” Before he approached the pokemon. Slinging himself over it.

Porchoros followed suit. Wrapping his arms around hop. Leaning up against his back. He… Normally wasn’t comfortable with any touch but with hop. He was much more comfortable. Squirt would get on behind them.

Then they were off. With him directing the pokemon to the location of the base.
