It's TMNT time!Here's Raph playing in the rain... well... more like getting himself in trouble as usual. This one had been bouncing around in my head for quite a while... and here it is. I really hope you all enjoy this one, as much as I enjoyed working on it. Do let me know what you think!

I really love this. Everything is so right: the mood, the rendering of the background and the rain and the way you've drawn and coloured Raphael himself. Altogether it's EXQUISITE. And a must for my Faves List.

This picture rules. I mean... just the fact that it doesn't seem to be a picture more than its a scene is one thing. The effects are gorgeous. It glows. And yes, I love the rain, makes for a very dramatic touch. ^_^ The title is just funny. What exactly Raph would consider 'playing' is beyond me...
All in all, absolutely... shell-shocking.

Raph is my favourite turtle and I enjoy seeing fan art with him in. But this picture is unbelievable. The texture of his skin, the lines of muscles, the rain running down his body... simply amazing.

The coloring and such is so well done, including the shading! How you managed to make the rain look so realistic is beyond my comprehenshin(sp?).

I remember...when I was in the first grade, my class had to do Valentine frames as a project. We decorated the frames with glitter and hearts and all that crap. The picture I put inside the frame was a cut-out image of Raphael. I had the biggest crush on him. XD
That "little crush" may be coming back thanks to this pic! *fave*

I first saw this on the tmntart art page, and said mostly the same thing there but, Holy crap, when I first saw this I thought is that a picture, then I realized that there arn't huge ass ninja turtles running around... anyway this is by far one of the coolest pics I have ever seen, awesome work!

I cant paint lik tis,bt the eyes looks super werid,shld fade off the edges,shadow casted on the left forearm looks fake, the lighting for the elbow pad on the right hand is wrong. The perspective for the car and building looks super werid. Seriously,I cant paint tis well,but if comments R wat u seek for,posting tis paintin,I hope I helped.Sorry for the harsh comments. Cheers!!

the rain is excellent, as the light of the lamp on the left, the face expression, the background, the bouncing drops on the arm.
I love the reflects on the blades, well I'm totally out of breath on that piece of work...

Hey thanks. I spend time and effort on all sorts of neglected things... Fan art is just one of them. I find that there isn't enough artwork out there of the more painterly variety when it comes to movie characters, icons, obscure characters, etc etc. I think my gallery reflects that... Who else does fan art of Clint Eastwood? heh.

Wonderful to see such an awesome image on devi. I used to be a hard core TMNT fan ages back. Ralphie and Donnie were my faves. This picture works on so many levels. The mood and background fit Raph's dark angsty mood while trying to get the moved just right.
