Megaman – Castle Fall
Bass – U
History:
After the death of Megaman, Dr. Light went insane and Dr. Wiley recognized the error of his ways (Though mainly because Dr. Light was actually managing to succeed in taking over the world, leaving nothing for him). With his own army of robots being destroyed by Dr. Light’s Proto Legion, Wiley had to go underground and work with what remaining supplies he could scrounge together. Pooling all of his remaining resources together, he took an older prototype and upgraded it to the best of his ability creating a whole new monster, Base- U (Ultimate). Though he was found out and murdered Long before finishing the project, he was able to hide away an assembly room that spent the next twenty years developing him to eventually end the reign of Dr. Light.
Abilities:
Shot – Basic energy attack, fires a powerful bolt of light at his opponent
Bank Charge- After holding down the block button for an extended period of time, press the ‘fire’ button and bank the energy to later perform a ‘Special Attack’
Melee- An attack using the blades on the sides of Bass’ arms, they typically do more damage than a basic shot, but have very low range.
Block- Absorbs some damage, while still taking about one fourth of the original damage, and continuous damage will help you to bank a charge faster (absorbing ten shots will fill the charge gauge). You cannot die from an attack while blocking.
Counter- Deflects the attack and avoids all damage, but it will not absorb any energy.
Treble Fusion – Once per-level, Bass can fuse with Treble to form an even more powerful body (lasts for thirty seconds, can be upgraded). Transforming regenerates Bass to full health, he takes half the damage and cannot die in this form, though once it ends, his health will transfer to his base body. The shots he fires are explosive bolts that vaporize anything they hit. It also allows him to glide, basically reach a certain height and hover in the air as he moves forward (does three times damage against boss characters). Final Stirke – Can end the form at any time by releasing a screen nuke that does massive damage to any enemies nearby.
Smart Cannon- Learns and adapts to the situation, changing its forms to become a more effective weapon.
Form Changes-
Bass: The original form of the cannon, has average damage, average speed, Special –Fires a ‘charged bolt’ that hits for four times the base damage (a one hit wonder but it can be upgraded to bank up to three shots).
Thunder Struck: Takes twice as long to charge, adds the ability to ‘counter’ an attack (reflecting projectiles and stunning physical strikes), Special – Fires two slow moving mines before needing to be reloaded.
Crazy Train: Transforms both arms at the same time to fire twice as fast, but the shots will not damage any enemy wearing heavy armor, blocking will absorb half damage, Special – creates a close range energy whirlwind.
Cherry Bomb: slower fire rate (by about one-third), fires three spikes at once that fly in different directions to create footholds in ice, melee does double damage, Special – Fires a cluster of spikes in a forward cone that pierce through all incoming attacks, stick into whatever they hit and explode after a few seconds
Sure Shot: Slowest rate of fire (half speed), low range, but does double damage if it hits, cannot melee, Blocking will absorb half damage, Special – Fires a reflective bullet that bounces off of the walls and floor that does massive damage against armored enemies, fires up to four times before needing to be reloaded.
