Episode 8 brings the Tamers back to the real world for some well deserved treats...Until something intervenes.

As much fun and satisfying as it is when the plot of your story finally starts coming together after all the work you've put into it, sometimes it's just the little moments between characters that end up being your favorites. Scrofamon chasing Puckmon up a tree has been one of my favorite scenes since this cast finally came to life, and even has roots that go further than the original draft of Network, actually loosely based on a concept from the Zodiac idea, where Scrofamon had an ongoing rivalry with the leader's partnermon, then a snake-like Digimon that was very different from Wemicmon.

The rivalry was planned to be a sort of running gag of them constantly fighting and Scrofamon always being offended at being called a pig (Olivia lives on a farm, he's seen real pigs and does not appreciate the comparison), but although Scrofamon's fightiness has been toned down a little bit from that concept, and the rivalry between him and the leadermon has been abandoned, I still really wanted to have at least one scene of him throwing his weight around and loosing his cool over being called a pig. It won't be a running gag, but I hope to include another scene similar to this later on in the fic as a sort of call back.

After taking an unexpected and longer than intended Hiatus from this story, I have decided to return to the Network, but the thing is that I have greatly improved my art style and technique, so before I move on to new content I decided to revisit the old screencaps!

Completely changed the angle on this, exaggerated expressions more, had so much fun
