Cia had taken notice of how much Ren-Rin usually eats on a basis whenever they hang out. One discussion had led up to Cia calling out Ren's constant hunger and made a bet that Ren can last a whole day without gorging himself with food. As a reward, she would treat him out for dinner and offer up herself as a bit of dessert. (Despite her tasting like sweet salmon).

So, Ren would accept the challenge, starting off early in the morning. Things would seem alright for the most part, though Ren already had some bit of trouble finding a way to keep himself from thinking of food. As the day grew later and later, he would start craving food more and more as his stomach growls constantly. Cia from time to time would check up on him by examining his stomach (whether it would be listening to it close by ear, rubbing or kneading it causing it to growl more, etc...). This constant teasing would tempt the Charizard more and more, but he did last and endured through the trial.

By the end of the day, it was pretty close, but he managed to settle the score and fulfilled the bet. As a result, Cia did what she promised and treated him to a field day of food and herself if Ren wanted a satisfying dessert to top it all off. (Which in this case, happened).
