Blunt: she is very full on and tries to always get straight to the point, due to this people tend to misinterpret what’s she means.

Short tempered: she doesn’t take shit from strangers, and will happily stand up for herself and others who are on the short end of the stick. But due to this she tends to get into fights a lot.

Boisterous: She has lots of energy, and she’s a large person, so people tend to find her energy intimidating.

Crafty: will do anything to survive, despite what her morals say.

Observant: she tends to take notice of things not usually noticed; this can be good but also can be distracting in everyday life.

Silly: she finds it hard to stay serious at times, constantly cracking jokes and doing things to make herself and others happy.

Engineering: she did engineering in MIT and continued it practically even after having to quit.

Boxing: She took up boxing to strengthen her core after the accident, but continues to use it in her current criminal career.

Robotics: she took robotics in MIT; she uses this to help build prosthetics.

Mathematics: She is skilled at science and maths; she took Algebra in MIT as well.

Mixed Martial Arts: she took many different classes to build her skills while she still could stand; she uses them in her current criminal career.

Gaming: she enjoys gaming in her free time, typically slow paced story based games.

First aid: because she is scared of hospitals she took it upon herself to learn how to treat all kinds of injuries.

Parkour: in order to pull off the feats she does for money, she taught herself how to parkour.

-Prosthetics Settings-

Default: the default setting is just a normal arm and legs, these are still capable of doing massive amounts of damage though.

Climbing:  3 ‘prongs’ stick out from the back of heel and side of foot on each leg, these dig into the ground/bricks, they are highly stable and capable of holding her full weight, using these she can climb up walls (not on ceiling though)

Stealth Tail: The legs merge together to form a metal Tail, This is used for Stealth and is almost silent on most surfaces.

Grappling Hand: The prosthetic hand gets launched up to 20 metres in distance, She can still control her hand in this form; by grabbing onto a surface in this form she can grapple large distances.

-Important Backstory Snippets-

-Being sent into foster care-

Her first few years of life were unfortunate; her two successful parents neglected to take care of her at all and left it to her teenage sister. Her sister had her own problems, but tended to take it out on the young Itzel. The lack of care in her younger years has resulted in a lot of attachment issues. Luckily, at around her 5th birthday, a friend of her parents noticed the neglect, and managed to legally remove her from that home. They couldn’t take care of her themselves though, so she ended up in foster care.

The trauma from these experiences and the lack of teaching from her parents made her selectively mute for most of her time in foster care. She slipped into a sad state of depression at a young age. These things tended to deter foster parents from keeping her for long, so she bounced around from household to household. Then, finally, at 13 years of age, things changed.

-Being adopted-

In 8th grade, she had a really nice maths teacher that took notice of her. Though she didn’t speak much even in class, this teacher quickly realised her abilities in the math and sciences were way beyond high school. This teacher tutored her for free most afternoons now, and Itzel found herself speaking more and more in these sessions. Eventually it came out that she was in foster care, and this teacher just had to snatch her up. Though confusing and unsure, Itzel managed to settle down slowly but surely in this new home, the affection new and scary for her. A year later, around her 14th birthday, she is rarely mute, and finally comfortable in their small family. Under the tutelage of her teacher turned parent, and the professor that was her new dad, she managed to graduate high school at 16 years old with full marks and a scholarship to a few different universities.

-Entering MIT-

After a year off to travel with her parents, they ended up moving to America to further her education. She managed to get into MIT, as she was told she was a child genius. She aspired to create new and unique prosthetics, so she selected a variety of engineering, robotics, and medical courses. At this time, her elderly parents were considering retiring and moving to the country side. she encouraged this, and she quickly found a place to stay near MIT so they could retire without worry about her. She was on her own now, though she called them pretty much daily. She loved MIT, as she was learning new things, and though it was relatively simple to her, she enjoyed it thoroughly, and her teachers loved her.  Halfway through the school year, her engineering professor retired, and someone replaced her.

-Meeting her Birth Mum again and the things that follow-

Coming face to face with her birth mother for the first time in over a decade really shocked Itzel, but her mother didn’t recognise her. Itzel, being the temperamental person she is, ended up snapping at her within a couple of days of seeing her again. Unsurprisingly, things got heated, and it was outed that her birth mother (BM) was definitely still has horrible as when they last saw each other.

This conflict was proving to be a long lasting problem.

Itzel tried not to act on her hate, but a couple of months later, she discovered a large amount of legal issues her mother was hiding, things like fraud, paying for grades, and other low life crimes. Through spite, Itzel tried everything she could to get her fired, but that failed miserably, as she ‘had no proof’. And even when she got the proof, the principle seemed to brush it off, perhaps because she was a model professor and was well respected within the science community.

Word must have gotten out about what she was doing, as one dreaded night she was attacked in her home, blinded in one eye and warned. Her mother was obviously not above violence to get what she wanted.  Itzel was scared now, but her anger was stronger, and she continued in her efforts, now to get her arrested.

One thing leads to another, and Itzel is successful, the scandal of the local professor being exposed as a murderer was in the headlines for weeks.  Unfortunately, things weren’t over. and on the subway home after a party celebrating graduation, things went haywire. The subway derailed, and she lost everything with it.

-The aftermath of the accident-

Losing 3 out of 4 limbs and the feeling in most of her body, she could well and truly say that things have gone downhill real quick. She was called lucky, as the accident should have killed her, but she couldn’t help but disagree. She was dispatched from the hospital almost a year later, she was 20 years old now, graduated, but now unable to walk or write since she was originally right handed. She moved back into her parents’ house, and they were happy to help her.  But, after a couple months recovery, her determination was anything BUT weak.

Through experimentation and a lot of her own money spent, she was able to come up with a new type of drug, one that brought feeling back into her legs, and made it possible to walk again with prosthetics. The doctors claimed it was a miracle, others claimed it was fishy, she didn’t tell them regardless. This drug was expensive, and she knew that, but it worked so she was happy.  With a lot of physical therapy at the local hospital she managed to walk again, but still required a wheelchair when the drugs just weren’t enough. Though she didn’t have a job anymore, she ended up joining a few different classes, with things such as boxing or martial arts in mind, to strengthen her weak body. Around 22 years old, she started working on a revolutionary prosthetic, but kept it to herself, and after a few years of planning and failures, she had a set of 3 working prosthetics.

-Becoming a criminal-

The first problem came when her parents admitted to paying her hospital bills, which meant they were now looking for jobs again.  She herself was also running low in funds, and the drugs ingredients were definitely not helping.

It started with small things, a bag of chips, the wallet someone dropped beside her, sometimes she’d even pickpocket rich looking people on the streets.

She felt dirty, but she knew there was no other way.  She started working up from there, cashiers at supermarkets, large houses across the city, stealing from whoever was available.

At 23 she ended up finding herself among the black market dealers, and when she first laid eyes on Vibranium, she couldn’t take her eyes off it. She had enough for a few bits and pieces, so in the spur of the moment, she brought it.

Her prosthetics were getting even more and more advanced now, and with it, her ability to rob people blind was getting easier.  Her first bank robbery was at almost 24 years old, and it was a perfect heist, no-one saw her enter, no-one saw her leave. With that money she was able to obtain more resources for her prosthetics and drug, as well as support her parents in their retirement. She moved back to New York, having felt like she was overstaying her welcome, and become well known among the criminal underground as a skilled thief and experienced criminal.  She robbed many different banks and institutions, and found herself practically rolling in money, though she sadly had to spend it just as fast as she earned it.

The new version of her prosthetics (and current pair) ended up being made of Vibranium and Chitauri tech. They were strong, and now so was she, so everyone knew she was a force to be reckoned with. She got involved with shady business, and she ended up way more accustomed to violence and bloodshed then she expected, but she was alive and thriving. And to her, that’s all that mattered now.
