Description I'm still wondering why this hasn't been made already. I saw the 1993 cartoon "The Dirdy Birdy" and I was blown away by how simple, hilarious, and charming it was. Really makes me realize that they don't make cartoons like they used to. I'll briefly explain the plot here, but a link will be given at the bottom so you can watch for yourself.
The picture itself: I couldn't find an image of the cartoon ANYWHERE on Google Images or Photobucket, so I had to screen-cap my own. There's also the existing meme "Still a better love story than Twilight," which normally depicts a rather pathetic attempt at a love story being better than Twilight (Because Twilight sucks). Kind of like "Still a better ending than Mass Effect 3" memes. So I made this, to add it to the pile... Plus, I honestly think this is a better love story than Twilight.

The Cartoon: The short film was made by John Dilworth, who also created Courage the Cowardly Dog (One of my favorite shows of all time). The plot was, to be basic, about a cat named Fergurina and a bird named Purdy. Fergurina lives in a tree, which Purdy one day climbs. Purdy immediately falls in love with Fergurina, and attempts to show his affection by mooning her. The rest of the cartoon consists of Purdy trying to win Fergurina's love, and it's probably one of the simplest yet endearing pursuits ever. Of all time.

I do not own this cartoon, all credit goes to its creators: [link]

Wait, I meant those posters of that guy who I thought was Dilworth in Courage The Cowardly Dog.

Well, I can certainly recognize Dilworth's style here. That cartoon would have been more awesome if there were posters with his face on them.
