Oh. My. God. I just spent how long in this drawing?! I went back to look at the time for this drawing, and oh boy. I spent 10. HOURS. ON THIS PIECE.
Like I said, I'm like never going to draw Miya for like 5 years.
ANYWAYS. Jokes aside, lemme talk about the actual piece:
For my own style, pretty simple, just starting out with the baseline of Miyas design.
@Person374- When I was first starting this, Person374 was one of the first people I thought of, because I love their art and style and I believe us to be friends but it's hard to tell online sometimes XD. I think I got the gist of their style but I'm not quite sure, so it's up to you to tell sm how I did.
@Moooopsie- Moopsie, was also another I think of emetiatly, I love their cutesie/chibi type style and it was a nice little break to have such a simplistic style to draw, and I really love their art so again, one of the first I thought of.
@classysparrow-amoung the group of first thoughts, I ADORE Sparrows sharp and angular type style, and I loved recreating it.
@CyprusDraegon- I'm surprised I didn't didn't of her sooner since I'm SUCH a big fan of her and I've loved her art for actual years, like way before I had my own DA account. I think if I could, I'd take a second pass at her style tho, because I don't think I got it completely right, but oh well.
@KittenWithHorns- KittenWithHorns was one style that I adore and adored recreating, I love the thin sketchy feel to it, makes the dragon feel very snakelike and cool
@TaigaLily1-Taigas been someone I've known on this site for a while and have done several exchanges n stuff with and I love her style a lot, and I had a lot of fun with it.
@IndigoGlass- I was having a bit of trouble thinking of people for the last two styles, but as I was scrolling, I bumped into two artists, IndigoGlass and Flaxen4 in my watching and just scrolling DA. I love Indigos style, I quite like just the general way they draw things and had a nice time recreating the style
@Flaxen4- And finally, Flaxen4 has a cute style I love a lot, and I love their style overall, it was fun recreating, I did have a bit of trouble with one thing, and I actually sat and said out loud when looking at their art for reference, "oh, they dont...draw a line separating horns and underbelly and other details". That was one thing that caught me off gaurd since I always do that and it acts as a guideline for me for where that stuff should go but I think I ended up getting it down nicely.

Anyways, I had fun doing this and I'm thinking on doing another one for youtubers(not including deviants here) for other characters, and I'll probably choose a cat OC for that and do youtubers such as Blixemi, Nyoko Arts, Possombreath, Boomtowne, Moonkitty, etc, but that's still on the fence if I feel up to another 10 hrs session TvT
