interestingly, this 3 characters made their debut back in the old-school days of the Sonic franchise
the game Knuckles Chaotix was considered to be the only really good game to come out on the 32X
It came out around the same time as Donkey Kong Country and it had similar gameplay, with the diference that you could choose 2 from 8 characters, each of them having their individual set of skills
definitely recommending this over Sonic Heroes

I actually like the croc. If your gonna put a rapper character in a show only put one. If any more show up, it should be in some kind of "place where he belongs" episode.

Haha! Sweet lord! I used to love the Sonic games when I was little... (like the original games for Sega Genesis) and hey, I even liked Sonic Adventure 1 and 2. (though playing them today I see that they're kind of...lacking). I didn't like Heroes all that much and the games are getting progressively worse and worse!
However, two of those guys (Vector and Espio, I think) were from the comics, and they threw them into the game. But Vector didn't used to be a gangsta'.
All in all: Gaysauce.

Yeah, I normally didn't mind the new additions to the Sonic scene like Amy, Shadow and I guess to a certain extent - Cream. But I think the franchise would have been better without these guys. I hated their missions in Sonic Heroes too, but I do admit - their goofy antics in an attempt to look like a serious detective squad did make me laugh

They are doing great production wise; they are mass-selling games, produced in a short amount of time, at fair price, and the amount of new-age fan newbies is growing... but... many veteran players are getting disappointed, annoyed, and event frustrated at how the beautiful imagination that Miyamoto had back at the time when Mario was born is slow, and painfully, disappearing right before our eyes.
