I know in the game, the text says 'as the rose wilts' instead of 'as the rose rots', but I read an Ib fanfic (I can't remember who it's by or what the title of it was) where the author used the word 'rot' instead. And considering that in the context of the game, the player's body deteriorates along with the rose, I think the word 'rot' was more suitable. Also! A challenge! Guess whose rose that is in the sketch (BIG Hint: Count the petals)!
