-has a very quiet voice
-small, short wings for bursts of speed and sharp turns
-tries to get along with his dad's unpredictable mood swings
-His special talent is actually designing clothes, his cutie mark is a ribbon
-he doesn't do it much, his dad calls it 'sissy stuff'

Other backstory stuff:
-Lightning Dust originally started dating and eventually married Short Fuse to brag to Rainbow Dash about how Lightning got married first
-their marriage did not last long (about a year), what with Short Fuse's intermittent periods of anger to Lightning Dust's almost complete neglect of her new child
-Fuse actually got really attached to baby Slips, so when they eventually divorced, he took custody (to Lightning's great relief), determined to be a better dad than his old man
-the first few years of raising a child were very hard for both father and son, with Fuse being split between being there for his kid and pushing him away due to his often uncontrollable rages
-one day, Fuse just happened to run into his old friend, Rolling Thunder, whom he explained his situation to, asking for advice on how to better connect with his son
-Thunder invites him to come with her to an anger management class
-after a few sessions, he feels more in control of his emotions than ever before in his life
-he has since come to accept and support his son's talent for clothing design
