X and Y were my first full experience with a Pokémon game, and honest to god I vowed never to go into that building for fear of unleashing some kind of curse (or maybe just giving myself night terrors). Can’t even trigger this event now if I wanted to. My game card got BRICKED with all the hacked shinies I’d collected through Wonder Trade.
