This was my contribution to #OrgulloIlustrado , an initiative started by some artists on Twitter and Instagram which was a way of doing a Pride Parade of sorts, since the real one couldn't happen due the current world situation. twitter.com/pon_cervantes/stat…There are a few elements and symbols here that I decided to include, but in short, I wanted to represent diversity in my own way, so that's why all characters are different, in skin color, appearance and even attitude. I've always seen Pride as both a celebration but also a fight, a protest but also a party, it is a time to make statements and hold our grounds, but also a time to celebrate that we are what we are.
