Description
Update: Just wanted to say thank you very much for the DD LaserBeast. And thanks to all the people commenting and supporting my stuff. It means a lotFeel like I need to have more TCG oriented pieces in my portfolio. So I made this one with that in mind. Didn't use any reference for this, should've used some for the cloth perhaps. But oh well. I kind of like how it turned out anyways
PS. Yes I know there isn't a "strap" or similar to the mask. But it looked like shit honestly. I'm thinking it might got burnt on to his face or something, hence the "scar tissue" around it.
DS.
all the best,
Thomas

Fantastic job as usual, love the composition and how you managed to make a square painting look sexy. Have you tried applying yet? I'd love love LOVE to see something like this on a MTG card. There are artworks with far worse quality (no offense to those artists) so I think you stand a good chance. Hell, if they don't pick you for some dumb reason I'll pay them a visit. With a nail-bat.

Thanks Yeah that is tricky when it comes to card art. Yes I have! One of my goals is to illustrate for Mtg. I'm just about to send them an e-mail. I applied one time before, but it was over a year ago and I wasn't nearly as good as I am now so. Hopefully it'll go better this time. But I'll just keep trying
thanks again!

Looks really impressive man. And I think you made the right choice going without a strap. Sometimes functionality can get in the way of an awesome painting.

I've been painting for about 7 years. But I didn't take it too seriously until about two years ago when I decided this is what I want to do. Thanks, I appreciate it.
