Thanatos Tyrant, an experimental breed Tyrant, gained an infamous reputation for managing to annihilate several members of the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Squad with great ease. During the events of Resident Evil Outbreak, Greg Muller, a rouge Umbrella Corporation Scientists, released Thanatos to show his disapproval for the mass-produced Tyrant project. Thanatos is easily recognized by its sublime display of agility, brute force , and keen survival instincts. After being severely injured in the destruction of Raccoon University, it further mutated into a monstosity known as "Thanatos-R." Thanatos-R was characterized by it's towering height, a single massive claw, and the loss of one arm. This Tyrant was destoryed by a group of survivors on the University grounds."He also looks like Micheal Jordan, well kinda. And he's the first African American tyrant! XD!"

He may be well known as the only black Tyrant But He is Also Famous for being the Only Tyrant Simi-Clothed And The Only one to be clothed thrue his entire apperance ,Sans the Nemesis in Gun Suvivor II And IVAN, the others were either naked or fully clothed

thanatos just wouldnt flippin die >< hes just like nemesis only huger and more violent to civilians lol
and what really freaked me out was the fact that while the other tyrants wear actual clothes while this one only has a speedo.and it somehow didnt get like messed up in the explosion.he must have had time to do some dry cleaning XD

awsome, i didnt really think too much of this tyrant, wasnt really a favourite of mine, but once i reached him in the final Outbreak scenario, i was totally impressed, amazingly i was much more scared of this guy chasing me around more then i was scared of both Mr.X and Nemesis AND BIRKEN!! stalking me in the other games!!
