M4RCK is a kind robot with an admitted faulty processor chip, which makes him a faulty service robot - when initially recalled, his owners decided to keep him anyway, because they found him amusing, and thus, continues to be defective, but happy.M4RCK's personality was inspired by Johnny Five from Short Circuit, and the design takes influence from both My Life as a Teenage Robot, and the BlueSky movie Robots.
