Oh yeah that would look pretty cool indeed. Haha you're right, I do get inspiration from birds for most of my raptor patterns. Not on this one though. But yeah, I think it's definitely the best inspiration source, hehe.

I don't think it's a requirement to use bird feather colors, obviously, but I always get so excited to see them! My main dinosaur character isn't based off of any specific color pattern, but she looks similar to a robin - one of my favorites, so I'm definitely not opposed haha.

I think blending traits from realistic color palettes tends to work too. Such as, say, a falcon base mixed with colors from browner birds of prey or something.

Whoa, this looks amazing! It even looks extremely similar to that of a real Raptor! And holy fluff, I love the way you made the fur look like, it looks so fluffy and real and it stands out just perfectly great! It's really realistic, too! That Raptor looks so alert, as if daring anyone to come near it It looks epic eeee!!!!              Great job on it!!!!!
