**UPDATE: In my haste to show off I sort of just slapped together the original image. I thought Id put a little more effort in to displaying it. Hope this brings it together a bit more.Here's something I'm extra proud to present. I had a little time off a few weeks ago so I was actually able to sit down and draw a little for myself....a rare treat. I'm rusty as all hell but had a lot of fun trying to shake a little of that off.
What you see here are 6 separate drawings that I threw together in to this haphazard montage. They weren't drawn with the intent of having them in the same image but I wanted to see how they played off of one another just for fun.
By far, the coolest aspect of these pieces is that my dear friend, Sean Galloway, a.k.a CHEEKS
did the colors!!!! I am Sean's biggest fan and his work obviously has a big influence on my own. To have him help me with these was beyond awesome. As far as I'm concerned, everything that's cool here is as a result of what he did. He brought them to life.
I'm currently trying to put together a nice art book in which these will be featured separately along with many others. Ill keep you posted on when that will be. I really hope you guys dig!

Ha! Very cool, Tim..It's nice to see you drawing a bit. It's so bizarre to me that this is how you'd draw if given the choice..It's nothing like how you ink. Is that why? Because it's just different from your real work?
On a technical side, what's going on with the lines? There's some odd broken lines in there. Kinda looks like dots.

Haha, these are great! Ironman's my fav out of these (triangle legs!), but Cap's a close second (circle eyes!). Judging by the comments, it would seem that everyone wants to have `cheeks-74 's babies... looks like I'll have to whip out my aluminum baseball bat if I want to get near the front, eh?

it looks great but am i missing something here? im not sure i like the trend of just cell shading and drawing cartoons... that look like its for a childrens book
back in 92-95, marvel had cards and they were called masterpieces for a reason. im just saying... i dont want to offend

To each his own. What looks like kids books to you looks like great comics to many others...like me. Theres very little art or style therein that appeals to everyone. It doesnt mean theres something wrong with it though.

All is great! The family is healthy and Kaden is growing like a weed. When is your latest addition due? I didn't miss the big event, did I? Sorry if I was not paying proper attention.
Also, I just finished inking 11 pages of Casey Jones on the upcoming final issue of New Warriors. That was a blast as I love Casey's stuff. I am not sure when it is coming out but it must be soon since the previous issue has been on stands for a couple of weeks at least. It's nice to dip my toes back in the pool every once and a while.
